Ok Tedi Mining Limited operates the longest running open-pit copper, gold, and silver mine in Papua New Guinea. Managing a gold, silver and copper mine 2,000m above sea level in a dense rainforest brings many logistical and communications challenges - not the least of which is low bandwidth.
