TECO & RedEye Capturing Legacy Information

Like many District Energy organizations, Thermal Energy Corporation (TECO) was facing operational challenges around their legacy engineering information, including:

• Knowledge Transfer: experienced staff departing, taking knowledge of accurate engineering information with them
• Security: engineering information is a critical security risk, that is often a risk of exploitation
• Access: as TECO digitized, the imperative to make this information available to all stakeholders (both internal and external) was increasing

TECO decided to embark upon a modernization program for their engineering drawings and documents, one that would set them up for long-term success and remove a lot of the risk associated with this critical information.

They chose to partner with RedEye, and have since migrated all their critical engineering information into RedEye’s secure, cloud-based platform.
